This private apartment in Kinshicho was redesigned as a calm and refined accommodation for short-term stays.
The original interior combined white walls with wood accents, but lacked brightness and cohesion, creating a somewhat dated and cluttered impression depending on the furniture layout. To address this, the space was reorganized around light, color, and visual balance, enhancing the existing wood elements while shifting the overall atmosphere toward a more hotel-like quality.

The bedroom features a palette of white and greige to unify the space and improve brightness, allowing the wood textures to stand out naturally. Blue accents in the bedding introduce depth, and the arrangement of three beds was planned to avoid any sense of crowding. Lighting and artwork were positioned to maintain clean visual lines, resulting in a room that photographs beautifully and feels harmonious in person.

In the dining area, a round table and compact chairs create a comfortable layout even within a modest floor plan. The placement allows for smooth transitions between dining, working, and watching TV, ensuring that movement through the space remains intuitive. Soft, diffused lighting replaces the previous harsh fixtures, producing an even brightness throughout the day and a gentle, welcoming atmosphere at night.

Overall, the design focuses on minimal decoration and a unified material palette, creating a sense of continuity throughout the room. The result is a compact yet open-feeling urban stay—comfortable to use and visually appealing for both photography and actual accommodation.
